PRIVACY STATEMENT

Introduction

Bymme.com("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Statement outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you visit our website and use our services.

SECTION 1 - INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE

When you make a purchase from our store, as part of the transaction process, we collect the personal information you provide, such as your name, address, and email address.

When you browse our store, we automatically receive your computer's Internet Protocol (IP) address. This information helps us understand your browser and operating system, allowing us to enhance your browsing experience.

Email Marketing (where applicable): With your explicit consent, we may send you emails about our store, new products, and updates. You can opt-out of these communications at any time.

SECTION 2 - CONSENT

How We Obtain Your Consent

When you provide personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for delivery, or process a return, we infer that you consent to our collection and use of that information for that specific purpose only.

If we request your personal information for a secondary purpose, such as marketing, we will either seek your express consent or provide you with the opportunity to decline.

Withdrawing Your Consent

If you change your mind after opting in, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, or for the continued collection, use, or disclosure of your information, at any time by contacting us at support@bymme.com.

SECTION 3 - DISCLOSURE

We may disclose your personal information if required by law or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY PLATFORM

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides us with the e-commerce platform to sell our products and services.

Your data is stored through Shopify's data storage, databases, and the general Shopify application. Shopify stores your data on secure servers protected by firewalls.

Payment Processing

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, Shopify stores your credit card data. This data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as necessary to complete your transaction. After completion, your transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the PCI-DSS standards managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

For further information, please review Shopify's Terms of Service (https://www.shopify.com/legal/terms) and Privacy Statement (https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy).

SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Generally, our third-party service providers will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and payment processors, have their own privacy policies regarding the information we provide for your purchase-related transactions.

We recommend reviewing their privacy policies to understand how your personal information will be handled.

Please note that some providers may be located in or have facilities in a different jurisdiction than you or us. Therefore, if you proceed with a transaction involving a third-party service provider, your information may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.

For example, if you are in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway in the United States, your personal information may be subject to disclosure under U.S. legislation, including the Patriot Act.

Once you leave our store's website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service no longer apply.
